Chocolate Covered Pecans

It’s almost the end of January and I’m still clearing out the holiday goodie ingredients. So today I used the remaining melting chocolate to coat the rest of the pecans and sprinkled them with sea salt. I’m sure I can find someone who isn’t sick of holiday treats to take them off my hands. It’s definitely time to stock my pantry and fridge with some non holiday foods.

Chocolate Covered Pecans

1lb pecan halves
1lb melting chocolate
Sea salt
Toast pecan on a cookie sheet in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes and cool.
Melt chocolate according to package.
Toss pecans in chocolate and place on silpat or non stick cookie sheet.
Sprinkle with cracked sea salt.
Cool in fridge til chocolate hardens.

These are a great gift for friends, co workers and neighbors.
